The Capitel Foscarino Bianco Veneto IGT from Azienda Agricola Anselmi is golden yellow in the glass. The nose reveals aromas of apple, citrus and peach with a lovely herbal note in the background. This white wine from Veneto is soft and round on the palate, with a creamy structure and fine acidity.
Vinification of the Capitel Foscarino Bianco Veneto IGT from Anselmi
90% Garganega and 10% Chardonnay are vinified together for this wine. The grapes grow in the Capitel Foscarino vineyard, where Anselmi owns 10 hectares. The soil is of volcanic origin and the vineyards are located on the hills in the Soave region, at an altitude of around 350 meters above sea level. After a short maceration period, the must is slowly fermented with its own yeasts at controlled low temperatures. The wine is then matured for six months in stainless steel tanks.
