More information

Carménère Cabernet Sauvignon by Neyen Winery is a Chilean red wine vinified from  the Carménère (55%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (45%) grape varieties.

The glass shows a dense purple with violet reflections. The bouquet reveals strong aromas of fresh strawberries, noble plum and cassis. The aromas of the nose are underlined by hints of white pepper and bourbon vanilla. The palate is pampered by soft, ripe tannins. The finish is wonderfully long and shows the balanced character of this Chilean red wine.

Vinification of Neyen Red Wine

The grapes for this red wine from Chile come from  Colchagua Valley and Central Valley and are carefully picked by hand.

The cuvée is aged for 12 months in French oak barriques. This gives this red wine its unmistakable note of vanilla.

Food recommendation for the Neyen Carménère Cabernet Sauvignon

Enjoy this dry red wine with lamb leg with herb crust or with fried vegetables.
