Domaine Horgelus Blanc Côtes de Gascogne IGP by Domaine Horgelus impresses with its brilliant light yellow colour, its varietal fresh and intense bouquet in which citrus aromas, tropical fruits and floral notes predominate. A very successful and tasteful cuvée, which is fruity and elegant on the palate with a lively acidity structure and a slightly mineral aftertaste.
Cultivation and vinification of Horgelus Blanc wine
On the sunny slopes of Gascogne, in the heart of south-western France, the vines for the wines of the Domaine Horgelus winery of the Le Menn family grow. With Yoan, it is already the fifth generation to produce wines, new wines are created every year, new cuvées that continue the spirit of the domain: pleasant wines, uncomplicated and easily accessible to many people and for every occasion.
Domaine Horgelus white wine is made from 75% Colombard and 25% Sauvignon, grown in the vineyards of the 66-hectare Domaine. The secret of Yoan Le Menn's wines is to preserve the fruity aromas and freshness of his wines. For this reason, harvesting takes place from 3 a.m. to the early morning to take full advantage of the cool hours of the morning. Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures takes place immediately after gentle pressing in stainless steel tanks. The bottled wines such as Horgelus Blanc surprise with their rich bouquets and fruity taste.
