Fichimori Salento IGT 2021 - Tormaresca
More information

The Fichimori Salento IGT by Tormaresca is presented in the glass in a beautiful ruby red with violet reflections. The nose is flattered by the wonderful aromas of sour cherries, pomegranate and floral hints of roses. On the palate, this fresh Negroamaro is soft and fruity. A pleasant fruit acid leads into a long reverberation.

Vinification of the Fichimori Salento IGT by Tormaresca

The Fichimori is made from the grape variety Negroamaro and a few drops of Syrah. In order for a red wine to be served chilled, its tannins must be much softer than a "conventional" red wine. Therefore, only the best Negroamaro grapes were selected for this red wine. After crushing, the grapes were pressed before maceration. Together with the skinless fermentation, the varietal aromas, the intense colour and softer ingredients can be extracted
