The Graciano of Marques de Grinon is a wonderful, grape varietal red wine from the Spanish D.O. Dominio de Valdepusa region.
In the glass, this wine shines in a dark ruby red. The complex bouquet reveals intense aromas of red and black forest berries - especially strawberries and blackberries - with fine hints of fresh citrus fruits. On the palate, this Spanish red wine is well structured and smooth. The tannins are beautifully integrated and lead to a sustainable and long final.
Vinification of the Marques de Grinon Dominio de Valdepusa Graciano
The hand-picked Graciano grapes grow on 7-12 year old vines on limestone and loamy soils in a flat layer.
The harvest and selection are carried out exclusively by hand during the September harvest period. The grapes are gently pressed in the wine cellar and the resulting mash is fermented in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, this red wine matures for a total of 20 months in French oak barrels.
Food recommendation for the Marques de Grinon Graciano
This dry red wine from Spain is an enthusiastic soloist with great maturity potential, very good with dishes with red meat or a lamb leg. Enjoy this wine decanted in time.
