More information about J. Charpentier Premier Cru Brut - Champagne J. Charpentier

The elegant J. Charpentier Premier Cru Brut from the house of Champagne J. Charpentier flows into the glass with a bright light red hue. The mousse of this sparkling wine shimmers in the glass as extremely fine, elegant and long-lasting. When swirling the glass, you can perceive a perfect balance in this sparkling wine, as it neither appears watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the glass walls. With a little time in the glass, this sparkling wine from France reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of apricot and plum, rounded off by further fruity nuances.

Thanks to its pronounced acidity, J. Charpentier Premier Cru Brut appears wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. On the finish, this wine from the Champagne winegrowing region delights with a beautiful length. Hints of plum and apricot appear once again. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the limestone-dominated soils join in.

Vinification of Champagne J. Charpentier J. Charpentier Premier Cru Brut

The well-balanced J. Charpentier Premier Cru Brut from France is a cuvée made from the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Champagne. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into limestone soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There, they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by the fermentation of the base wines.
