Lepanto Solera Gran Reserva in GP 0,7 l - Gonzalez Byass
The Lepanto Solera Gran Reserva from Gonzalez Byass from the Spanish wine-growing region DO Jerez is exclusively distilled from the grape variety Palomino Fino.
This brandy shines in the glass in a luminous topaz with orange-golden shades. The nose reveals an elegant bouquet with fine notes of raisins, nuts, almonds, vanilla and caramel. Its dry, mature and complex taste reflects the warm spicy aromas of the bouquet and is crowned by a long and velvety finish.
Vinification of Byass Solera Gran Serva Lepanto
For this brandy only selected, best Palomino Fino grapes are used and pressed in the wine cellar of Bodega Los Arcos. The fine must is quickly fermented and then burnt twice in copper boilers. The copper kettles are two original Alambics Charentais with a volume of 25hl.
Only the fine brandy with 65 to 72 percent by volume is used for this brandy and placed in the Solera and Criadera system for a total of 12 years. These are 600 litres of American oak barrels, which are also used for sherry production. For 9 years this brandy matures in former Tío Pepe barrels - the remaining 3 years in Matusalem Cream Sherry barrels.

Enjoy this Brandy de Jerez as a nice conclusion of a cosy meal, or also to spicy blue cheese. But also pure (also on ice) this brandy is a pleasure.
