The Mandrarossa Bonera appears in the glass in a beautiful ruby red with violet reflections and reveals its expressive and Mediterranean embossed bouquet. This consists of the aromas of red fruits, with a hint of dried plums and almonds.

On the palate, this red wine from Sicily is harmonious, of good structure and convinces with its sweet fruit and silky tannins.

Vinification for the Mandrarossa Bonera

flat vineyards are located in Bonera, Menfi near Agrigento, about 90-150 meters above sea level. The vines for this cuvée from Nero d 'Avola and Cabernet Franc grow on clay and sandy soils.

After a 4-6 day mash fermentation at 15-18° Celsius, this wine matures for 3 months in a barrel and another 4 months in a bottle.
