This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It has been bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Chilean enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily need sugar. On the tongue, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture. The finale of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Aconcagua, more precisely from Valle de Casablanca, finally convinces with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and granite.
Vinification of the Veramonte Merlot
This powerful red wine from Chile is vinified from the Merlot grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Aconcagua. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of granite and clay. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation for 8 months in oak barrels.
