The Spanish dessert wine Piamater Blanco Naturalmente Dulce by Vitivinicola Tandem is made from sun-dried Moscato grapes, which ripen at about 700 m altitude in Malaga in southern Spain on old vines.
It is a complex and impressive wine that shines bright golden yellow with green reflections in the glass. A complex play of aromas and scents of flowers, honey, tropical fruits and quince unfolds in the nose. On the palate, this varied wine is fresh-fruity and powerful, the good balance between acidity and fruit stands out attractively, fine and filigree in the aftertaste.
Vinification of Tandem Piameter Dulce
Vitivincola Tandem's oenologist, Alicia Eyaralar, produces this exceptional dessert wine made from 100% Moscato grapes in Malaga, southern Spain, in partnership with the winery Bodegas Dimobe. The grapes mature on vines aged 50 years and older in Axarquia vineyards, on the barren slopes of Sierra Màlaga on low-nutrient, weathered soils, characterized by clay and quartz.
The Moscato grapes are harvested manually at the end of August. The harvested grapes are then dried in the sun and only when they have reached the best degree of drying and residual sweetness does temperature-controlled mash fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks.

This sweet wine from Spain can be enjoyed as a dessert or meditation wine, alone or as an ideal accompaniment to blue cheese with honey, foie gras (goose stuffing liver or duck stuffing liver), ice cream and chocolate and dry pastries.
