Pomino Bianco DOC 2019 - Castello Pomino
The Pomino Bianco DOC by Castello di Pomino glows straw yellow in the glass. The bouquet reminds of jamsin and almond blossoms, fruity notes of apricots and tropical fruits, with delicate hints of cardamom in the background. This light Tuscan white wine presents itself on the palate tasty and lively, harmonious and persistent in the finish with a touch of ripe raspberry in the aftertaste.
Production of the Pomino Bianco by Castello Pomino
Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc are vinified together for the Pomino Bianco. The majority of the wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks, a small part of the wine undergoes the maolactic fermentation and is then aged in barrique barrels. After 4 months the wine is bottled, where it is left to rest for 1 month before being sold.
Recommendations for the Pomino Bianco by Castello Pomino by Frescobaldi
This beautiful white wine from the north of Tuscany is excellent as an aperitif and as a banquet wine at events. We recommend it with vegetable appetizers, pasta with light sauce, fish starters and delicate fish dishes.
