More information

Primus Carménère from Veramonte is a pure red wine from Chile made from  the Carménère grape variety (100%).

In a rich ruby red, this Chilean red wine presents itself in a glass. Aromas of juicy cherries unfold in the nose. The cherry aroma is accompanied by hints of white pepper and rosemary. On the palate, this red wine is fresh with plenty of fruit and silky texture. The tannins are wonderfully velvety and pass into a long-lasting finish.

Vinification of Primus Carménère The hand-picked

grapes for this red wine come from the region of Colchagua Valley and Central Valley and are carefully picked by hand.

grapes are fermented on the peel. After mash fermentation, this dry wine is aged for 12 months in French oak.

Food recommendation for the Veramonte Primus Carménère

We recommend this red wine from Chile for a cozy barbecue evening with the family and friends or with spicy cheeses.
