More information about Puro Malbec Mendoza - Dieter Meier
The Puro Malbec Mendoza from the wine-growing region of Mendoza reveals itself in the glass in dense purple. When swirling the glass, this red wine reveals a high density and fullness, which is reflected in strong church windows at the edge of the glass. Poured into a Bordeaux glass, this red wine from Argentina reveals delightfully complex aromas of morello cherry, plum, blueberry and black currant, rounded out by cinnamon, cocoa bean and oriental spices.
On the palate, the Puro Malbec Mendoza from Dieter Meier starts wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. Full-bodied and multilayered, this silky and dense red wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Mendoza, more precisely from Luján de Cuyo, finally convinces with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the sand-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Dieter Meier Puro Malbec Mendoza
The basis for the powerful Puro Malbec Mendoza from Mendoza are grapes from the grape variety Malbec. In Mendoza, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sand. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Puro Malbec Mendoza can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....
