Redoma Branco Reserva DOC - Niepoort

Niepoort's Redoma Branco Reserva is a wonderfully complex white wine cuvée vinified from the grape varieties Arinto, Codega do Larinho, Donzelinho and Rabigato. 

In the glass, this wine glows a crystal clear lemon yellow. The complex bouquet reveals expressive notes of fresh lemons, tropical fruits and floral as well as mineral hints. On the palate, the aromas of the nose are reflected and form a fascinating balanced harmony with the present minerality and the notes of barrel aging. The texture is wonderfully dense with a delicate melt and lively acidity. A finesse-rich, complex Portuguese white wine that finishes with a very long and fine-salty finish. 

Vinification of the Niepoort  Redoma Branco Reserva

The grapes for this white wine are harvested at the beginning and strictly selected in the winery. After selection, the grapes are gently pressed. For settling, the must was left for 24 hours without macerating the skins. Fermentation takes place in French oak barriques. Finally, this wine rests in barriques for 10 months - the malolactic fermentation is only partial.
