More information

The Riesling from the Espenhof winery shines in the glass in a light yellow with green reflections and unfolds its typical grape variety bouquet with the aromas of peach, green apple and lime. These aromas are rounded off by a delicate spice and herbal notes.

This white wine from Rheinhessen has a lot of substance and juiciness on the palate with a fine minerality.

Vinification for Riesling from the Espenhof Winery

The almost 20-year-old vines for this Riesling grow on a rocky southern slope on shellfish limestone in the location of Flonheimer BIngerberg.

The grapes are selectively harvested, the fermentation and ageing take place 50% in the stainless steel tank and 50% with spontaneous fermentation partly in the large wood. This Riesling is then stored on the whole yeast until bottling.

Food recommendation for the Riesling from the Espenhof Winery
