More information about Rosé Brut Selection - Casters Louis

In the glass, the Rosé Brut Selection from Casters Louis reveals a bright light-red color. The effervescence of this sparkling wine shimmers in the glass with incredibly fine, elegant and persistent bubbles. When swirling the glass, one can perceive a perfect balance in this sparkling wine, as it neither appears watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the glass walls. This French cuvée reveals delightfully noble and complex notes of apple, mirabelle, peach and pear in the glass. These are joined by hints of additional fruits.

On the palate, this well-balanced sparkling wine is characterized by an extremely crisp, creamy and light texture. The finish of this sparkling wine from the Champagne wine-growing region, more precisely from Champagne itself, finally convinces with a lovely aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the clay- and limestone-dominated soils.

Vinification of the Rosé Brut Selection from Casters Louis

The basis for the balanced Rosé Brut Selection from Champagne is grapes of the Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Champagne. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. Quite clearly, the Rosé Brut Selection is shaped by more than just the soil of Champagne. In the best sense of the word, this French wine can be described as a wine of the Old World, presenting itself as exceptionally noble and complex. A clearly significant influence on the ripening of the grapes is also the fact that the Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir vines thrive under the influence of a rather cool climate. This is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and evenly ripened grapes and a rather moderate alcohol content in the wine. After hand-picking, the grapes are immediately brought to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by the fermentation of the base wines.

Food recommendation for the Rosé Brut Selection from Casters Louis

Enjoy this Champagne from France best well chilled at 5–7°C as an accompaniment to coconut-lime fish curry, fried trout with ginger-pear, or wok vegetables with fish.
