Di Majo Norante Sangiovese from Molise

The Sangiovese Terre degli Osci IGT by Di Majo Norante is brilliantly ruby red in colour. This magnificent Sangiovese from the "other coast" of Italy reveals to the nose a fresh and fruity bouquet in which violet and forest fruits are in the foreground, in the background a light leather note is recognizable.

On the palate, this red wine from Di Majo Norante is wonderfully dry, full-bodied and soft, beautifully structured and characterized by pleasant cherry and plum notes it rolls over the tongue. In the medium-long finish, the fruity and spicy notes from the bouquet end. 

Vinification of Sangiovese Terre degli Osci by Di Majo Norante

The grapes for this pure Sangiovese grow on calcareous soils, which face the sea almost gently at a height of 50 to 100 m. After manual harvesting in October, the grapes are macerated on the skins for a period of one month. The malolactic fermentation is carried out completely. Before the Sangiovese from Di Majo Norante is put on sale, it remains in the bottle store for at least 3 months
