THE TANK No 26 Appassimento Nero d 'Avola by Casa Vinicola Minini is a pure Nero d 'Avola with a dark core, lined with violet reflections. If you pour this red wine from Sicily into a large-volume glass, you will immediately notice beguiling, balsamic notes as well as dried fruits such as currants and dried plums in the nose. Mature fruit notes of cherries and plums, combined with fine chocolate notes complement the bouquet. In addition, there are clear, spicy aspects of sweet spices. On the palate THE TANK No 26 Nero d 'Avola holds what he promised in the nose. This red wine is highly concentrated, very rich in extracts, but also has enough fruit acid to not look marmallow and dull. In the long reverberation, especially dehydrated aromas and a beautiful chocolate note delight the palate. Vinification for THE TANK No 26 Appassimento Nero d 'Avola by Minini Mario Minini, who successfully produces wines in northern Italy with the Cantine Francesco Minini and on Sizlien with Corte dei Mori, has fulfilled a long-cherished dream with THE TANK No 26 and Camivini. Finally, he was able to produce a wine from the indigenous Sicilian grape variety Nero d 'Avola using the Appassimento method. Appassimento dries the grapes like raisins before processing, which greatly changes their sugar content and aroma. In THE case of TANK No 26, this is not done on straw mats in warehouses, as in the case of Amarone in northern Italy, but directly on the vine.   Only the best plots of vineyards near Marsala in northern Sicily are selected, whose grapes are absolutely ripe and undamaged. The vineyards are located in eastern Marsala at an altitude of over 400 metres above sea level. The vines are not new plants, but rather low-yielding, old vines that produce particularly high-quality grape material. After the gentle harvest, the almost rosined grapes for Tank No 26 are brought to the winery. There, the harvested material is mixed and crushed in wooden fermentation tanks. Alles super

Ich bin keine gute Weinkennerin, doch diesen wundervoll, fruchtig trockenen Rotwein kann ich nur empfehlen. Meine Gäste waren auch ganz begeistert davon, also alle Daumen hoch!!!

Ein guter "Allrounder"

Auf Empfehlung von Freunden gesucht, hier gefunden und gleich ein paar Kartons gekauft. Nicht bereut: Ein Roter, der ideal zur mediterranen Küche passt, aber auch sehr gut "Solo" getrunken werden kann. Kurzum: Nicht "preiswert" sondern "Viel Wert für den Preis"

Guter, nicht zu dominanter Begleiter

Es muss m. M. n. nicht Lamm oder Wild sein. Der Wein ist sehr rund und weich und geht in die Richtung "Ripasso". Er bestimmt nicht die Mahlzeit, er begleitet sie. Gerne auch zu Pizza oder Pasta.
