Finca Los Trenzones is a brand of the winery Bodegas Leganza, which in turn belongs to the Spanish Faustino Group. The winery is located in the middle of La Mancha, on the route of Don Quixote. 

The terroir of Finca Los Trenzones

The wine-growing region of La Mancha is the largest contiguous wine-growing area in the world and has more vineyard area than the vineyards of Germany, Austria and Switzerland combined. The area is located on a plateau at 480 - 700 meters above sea level. The soil is mainly reddish-brown loam with limestone veins. The climate is very dry, so the vines have to be planted further apart than in rainier areas. 524 hectares of vineyards surround Bodegas Leganza, where a wide variety of grape varieties are grown, both native and international

The philosophy of Finca Los Trenzones wines

The Finca Los Trenzones wines have a modern and fresh interpretation. They represent a modern interpretation of the DO La Mancha, which also likes to experiment in order to produce new, exciting creations. A rosé, a red wine, and two white wines are vinified today under the banner of the brand. The rosé and white wine is vinified regularly in stainless steel tanks, while the red wine is aged in the best Spanish manner in wooden barrels.
