Important information about shipping, payment, customs and excise duties!

You buy and pay net prices in this shop. You will not receive your goods until you have paid the sales tax, excise duty, customs duty and customs fees!

These steps will take place until your parcel is with you:

1. You order your products at net prices in our wine shop.

2. We pack the goods in Dresden (Germany).

3. We hand over your parcel to DHL.

4. DHL sends the goods to the UK.

5. The UK authorities clear the goods and charge excise duty on alcohol.

6. You receive a letter from PARCELFORCE requesting payment of:

UK VAT/ Import VAT
Excise duty on alcohol

Customs duty
Charge for customs clearance

7. You pay this amount.

8. Your parcel is delivered to you.

The shipping costs are calculated in € and displayed during the ordering process in the currency you have chosen and calculated at the respective exchange rate.

The shipping costs include the transport with insurance and a DHL certified cardboard box.

Please note that we don't accept returns.

Availability and delivery times

We show the respective delivery time at the product and at the checkout. If the item quantity changes, the delivery time may change, depending on stock. The delivery time starts from the day of receipt of payment until 2 pm. If the receipt of payment falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in Germany or Saxony, then the delivery time is calculated from the following working day. This also applies to the last due delivery day. If the article is not in stock, we will inform you in time (e.g. in case of vintage change). For wines, we deliver the available vintage. You have the possibility to refuse a vintage change during the order process (checkbox). We deliver while stocks last. A delivery guarantee is not possible and sold out, not reproducible articles cannot be delivered.
