Paul Hobbs is a well-known oenologist, who is described by figures like Robert Parker as one of the best winemakers of our time. Forbes magazine has already called him the "Steve Jobs of wine."
When he is not traveling the world looking for unique vineyards with untapped potential, he has been vinifying wines under his own name since 1991, such as his famous Cabernet Sauvignon from the single vineyard Beckstoffer Dr. Crane. The estate is located in California and has vineyards in the Napa and Russian River Valley, two well-known wine regions of the US state.

Paul Hobbs' goal is to express terroirs in a single glass: the stories, soils, and characteristics of each site. The entire production process is tailored accordingly; there is no standard procedure. Hand harvesting, exclusive use of natural yeasts, and the use of French oak barrels are additional important factors in the high-quality production of these wines.
