Pioneers in Valpolicella
Cantina Santi has been a name in Valpolicella since its foundation in 1843. The winery was founded by Carlo Santi with the aim of producing wines typical of the region. The selection of the best grapes from the region was an important factor on the road to success. Attilio Santi took over the winery from Carlo and, as early as the 1930s, was one of the first in Italy to establish a modern sparkling wine production. in 1974, the company became part of Gruppo Italiano Vini.

Focus on the local
Santi focuses on indigenous grape varieties that are typical of Valpolicella: Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella. This has allowed them to acquire a special knowledge of the grape varieties, which is reflected in the quality of the wines.
