For more than 140 years, wine has been cultivated at Beringer Vineyards.
Beringer Vineyards – this is where only the best comes together
The story of one of California’s leading wineries began in 1869 with the arrival of the German brothers Jacob and Frederick Beringer in Napa Valley. Jacob and Frederick acquired a total of 215 hectares of land and developed Napa Valley’s first quality winery. To this day, the winery remains in the hands of the family. Since 2015 it has been run by great-great-grandson Mark Beringer. He carries forward the art of winemaking that his ancestors brought to the region and enhances it with modern technology and a pioneering spirit.

Beringer Vineyards knows how to please the critics
Beringer Vineyards has produced multiple award-winning red and white wines that embody and unite the outstanding strengths and the typical character of the region. The renowned magazine Wine Spectator has so far granted Beringer Vineyards the distinction of “Wine of the Year” for both a white AND a red wine, making it unique among wine producers.
Fertile soils from volcanic rock at Beringer
The total vineyard area of Beringer Vineyards amounts to an impressive 1,200 hectares. A full 250 hectares of this are located in the Napa Valley, along the river of the same name. Running parallel to the coastline, the valley is flanked in the north and east by imposing mountain ranges. This favorable location results in Mediterranean climatic influences and thus excellent conditions for cultivating California’s top wines. The local volcanic rock creates a variety of soils, with those in the valley being particularly fertile.

Utterly passionate
Renowned grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Zinfandel thrive extremely well thanks to these ideal conditions and, along with several others, are part of the diverse varietal portfolio of Beringer Vineyards. The guiding principle of Beringer Vineyards is nothing less than to capture the perfection of the winegrowing region in the bottle. This makes them unbeatable among the wineries of Napa Valley. Precision work, stemming from their German roots, and passion, combined with the diversity of the wine region, give rise to incomparable wines with real depth.

Beringer Vineyards – not just thinking of their own advantage
Beringer Vineyards produces its high-quality wines sustainably, and long before it became a talking point, this family-run estate was already deeply engaged in winemaking in harmony with people, nature, and animals. A truly exemplary winery with the finest wines.
