... of Fillaboa Estate dates back to the 17th century. A legend surrounds the winery name Fillabao, which recalls the story of Cinderella by Charles Perrault. Two daughters of a count envied the younger sister. To the latter, the father left his best land. The countrymen christened it "tierras fartas da fillaboa".

Bodegas Fillaboa is one of the oldest estates in Galicia and the largest in the Pontevedra Land Registry. The style of the bodega is reminiscent of a stone palace - true to the structure of the great Galician houses.

The Fillaboa winery is surrounded by a wonderful garden with camellias, olive trees and magnolias. The vineyard is 74 hectares, divided into 12 demarcated plots and facing south, where majestic vines and trellises can be found.
