Small manufactory in the "Big Apple
In 2010, in the middle of the financial crisis,Emil Jätten and Joe Santos founded the small manufactory in Brooklyn.
In batches of no more than 300 bottles, they have since been producing a high-quality American gin that, unlike mass-produced gins, is made by hand.

Particular attention is also paid to the regionality of the products. The purchased fruits and also the corn for the base spirit are obtained from farms in the area.
For the Brooklyn Gin 100% fresh lemon peels are used and also the juniper is cracked by hand. The pure handwork takes more time and effort,
but Emil and Joe love the fresh, complex and flavorful gin, which can also be drunk neat.

Awards
So much passion for Brooklyn Gin has not gone unnoticed, of course. The handmade gin from New York has already received a number of awards, such as
- a double gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2016
- a double gold medal at New York World Wine & Spirits Competition 2015
- a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2015
- a gold medal at the Craft Competition 2015
- and 91 points and a rating of "Excellent, Highly Recommended" at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2015.
