Since 1860, in the sixth generation, Château Gombaude-Guillot is managed. In the heart of the Pomerol plateau, wonderful wines are vinified that know how to convince the connoisseur with balance, complexity, volume and finesse.

The winemakers of Gombaude-Guillot are always careful to bring the authentic character of Pomerol into the bottle. Great attention is paid to natural methods of winemaking (in the vineyards as well as in the cellar), as Château Gombaude-Guillot now officially practices organic farming.

Stay natural

The application for organic certification (AB) was made in 1997 - with the 2000 vintage, Château Gombaude-Guillot was cleared as an organic farm. But that is not the end of the journey. The Château is currently in the process of certification for biodynamic viticulture.
Organic farming is monitored and certified by an independent official body (ECOCERT).

The use of sulfur at Château Gombaude-Guillot is kept to an absolute minimum. Thus, the wines retain their unique and exceptional character - a true reflection of one of Bordeaux's greatest wine-growing regions.

Two terroirs - three wines

  Vinified from grapes grown on the great terroir of the Pomerol plateau
• Clos Plince
  The grapes come from a vineyard of almost one hectare in size
• Cadet de Gombaude
  The youngest of the three wines, vinified from young vines
