The wine trading company Douglas Green Bellingham - abbreviated DGB, originally arose from the wineries Boschendahl and Bellingham, whose origins go back more than 300 years. Douglas Green began the wholesale trade around 1940, and in 1990 the company was finally founded in its present form.
Douglas Green's own brand wines are vinified from grapes grown in different vineyards to achieve consistent quality and character. The portfolio includes red and white wines, as well as some sherries. The team is led by oenologist Jaco Potgieter and winemaker Stephan Joubert, with Dico Du Toit and Isabel Teubes serving as cellarmasters.
