Domaine des Genèves is a winery near Chablis, a small village after which an entire wine is named. Here, the small estate produces a Premier Cru, a Chablis with high quality standards. Only about 11% of the wines in Bourgogne get this classification.

The total vineyard area of Chablis wines is 2630 ha, 750 of which are used for the production of Premier Cru wines. The grape variety used for Chablis is exclusively Chardonnay.
