1959 marks the birth year of the winery Domaine William Fevrè in France.

Domaine William Fèvre - the finest Chablis wines
The initial 7 hectares on which vines were cultivated were expanded over time by more and more parcels: today the estate covers 78 hectares, of which
- 15.9 hectares are in classified Premiers Crus sites and
- 15.2 hectares are in Grands Crus sites.
William Fèvre is one of the largest landowners in Chablis.
The soils
The soils around Chablis were formed in the geological stage of the Kimmeridgian and are characterized by marl and limestone. They exhibit high minerality and freshness – characteristics that the wines grown here absorb and that serve as a model for many wine producers worldwide.

At work with passion
At the William Fèvre estate, work is carried out with great care and a deep passion for the wines. All vines are cultivated using organic farming methods and the ripened fruit is harvested and sorted by hand. State-of-the-art technologies meaningfully complement the traditional work. Since February 2015, the Domaine has been certified with the "High Environmental Value" (HVE) – this status underscores the respectful treatment of nature to which William Fevré is committed. Every single step of winemaking, no matter how small, is carried out here with mindfulness and precision, because only in this way can the excellent wines for which the name William Fèvre stands be created.
