Finch Whiskydestillerie

The Finch Whisky Distillery was founded by Hans-Gerhard Fink, who by no means started out as a master distiller, but who worked as a farmer and managed a 400-hectare farm in the Swabian Alb. The fact that Fink is now the owner of a major German whiskey distillery has its origins in the 1990s.

Back then, Fink came to a small fruit distillery through marriage. He was so fascinated by distilling that a little later he tried his hand at it himself. More and more, Fink sank into his new passion and had other, larger distilleries set up to professionally produce fruit brandies and spirits.

It was at this time that the Finch Whisky distillery idea was born, because after all, the raw materials grew in their own fields.

The central element of finch whiskies is the quality of the raw materials and the fact that the entire production process is in the hands of the finch whisky distillery and under the control of Hans-Gerhard Fink.

From the field to the bottle is the motto at Finch and this begins with the soil for sowing and the selection of seeds. The grain for Finch Whiskies grows in the Swabian Alb, is carefully malted, mashed, fermented and finally distilled in a pot still specially designed for Finch.

In every Finch Whisky you can taste the competence from the seed to the bottling from the barrel. Not only barley malt but other ancient grains, such as emmer, are cultivated and made into exceptional Finch Whisky.

The barrels are specially selected for each Finch bottling and purchased internationally, so that in addition to finch® Whisky Classic, you can also enjoy whisky with a finish in port, red wine or sherry casks.
