Winery with royal clientele
In 1786, the founder Peter Joseph Valckenberg was the first to sustainably export German wines to Europe and the world. England in particular was a popular export destination and soon royalty and dukes were among his clientele.
At a rapid pace, his wine trading house developed into an international import and export company.
Over several generations
The Valckenberg wine trading house has now been in existence for more than 230 years and has been owner-managed with great passion from the very beginning. . Over the generations, all of them see themselves as discoverers and ambassadors of the wine world - including the current owners Tilman Queins and Peter Bohn.

With varietal wines from the Palatinate and Rheinhessen, Valckenberg offers you an attractive introduction to the world of the most famous and interesting grape varieties.
The growing areas
