Mediterranean sparkling wine

Rivarose is a French wine producer based on the Mediterranean Sea. It has been gathering expertise to offer sparkling wine in alcoholic and non-alcoholic forms since 1909. The versatile methods of the house give the range a diversity that not many producers can offer, more than a hundred years of experience pays off. Since 1998, Rivarose has been part of Veuve Ambal, a major sparkling wine producer. This group brings together four major sparkling wine houses, Veuve Ambal, Rivarose, André Delorme and Prosper Mafoux.
The history

The company was founded by Edmond Thery, who built a cellar in Rognac and from there began to sell sparkling wines. Until the 1930s, the business was expanded bit by bit and became a producer of basic wines for the great champagne houses. When the first appellations were formed at that time, this business was no longer possible, so they opened up and offered their services as a service. It would take until 1988 to build a second production facility in Salon de Provence, where modern processes such as the Charmat method were then used, and alcohol-free sparkling wines were produced for the first time. When Rivarose joined Veuve Ambal, the company's facilities were again overhauled. finally, in 2016, the two production facilities were merged and the company took its current name, Rivarose.
