The Tacchino winery is now in its third generation. Located in Castelletto d'Orba in Alto Montferrato, the two owners Alessio and Romina place great emphasis on combining ancient winemaking traditions with the latest technologies.

The vineyards

The winery has a vineyard area of about 12.5 hectares, where the grapes ripen in southeastern exposure, protected from the north wind by the layout of the mountains, which resembles an amphitheater. It is harvested exclusively by hand to ensure high quality.

The wines

The estate focuses on the varieties Gavi and Dolcetto d'Ovada, which the grandfather Luigi began to produce already in the second half of the 20th century.
