This VDP site wine comes into the glass with a bright citrus yellow color. Vinification of the Aldinger Untertürkheimer Gips Pinot Blanc

This single-vineyard Pinot Blanc from Untertürkheimer Gips is produced 40% in large wooden barrels and 60% in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation, spontaneously triggered by the vineyard's own yeasts, takes place at 17-22°C. Subsequently, this white Burgundy matures on the full lees until February of the following year. The grapes grow on gypsum-keuper soils with a strong character, giving the wine a nice minerality.
