Zantho

Zantho wines are the product of the combined forces of Josef Umathum and Wolfgang Peck, two successful winemakers. While the former is responsible for quality assurance, Wolfgang Peck takes care of vinification in his winery in Andau. 

The grape varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and Sankt Laurent are cultivated, the vineyard area of the estate covers about 100 hectares. The grapes are harvested and selected exclusively by hand, and plant protection is carried out with care for the environment and the beneficial insects in the vineyard. 
Mainly red grape varieties such as Zweigelt, St. Laurent or Blaufränkisch are cultivated, but there are also whites such as Grüner Veltliner, Muscat and Sauvignon Blanc, and now and then some sweet wines in the assortment.

The focus of the collection is to create high quality wines in harmony with nature, and to increase the reputation of these wines in the world.
