Ackerman The house of Ackerman was founded in 1811 and is considered the pioneer of sparkling wine production in the Loire Valley, the first "Maison de Bulles". It is therefore the oldest house in the Loire Valley for fine sparkling wines. The wines of the Loire Valley thrive in a unique cultural landscape that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site: The Valley stretches over 65,000 hectares in four regions - Pays Nantais, Anjou-Saumur, Touraine and Centre Loire. All in all, this wine route represents a distance of 800 km. Since its foundation, Ackerman has produced its sparkling wines using the Méthode traditionnelle and therefore has the know-how to do so to perfection. The wines undergo a long ageing process on the lees of 12 to 36 months in the house's cave cellars. This step is crucial for the fineness and consistency of the perlage. The combination of tradition and innovation results in top cuvées for all moments of pleasure with an individual Crémant de Loire style.
