Araex Grands Spanish Fine Vines began as a project of businessman Javier Ruíz de Galarreta, in which he brought together nine Spanish winemakers from Rioja to increase the visibility of the estates. Several years later, the two companies Araex and Spanish Fine Wines became the current company. The aim of the company is to increase the prestige and fame of Spanish wines. To support this, they have brought on board the well-known oenologist Michel Rolland.
