The Oria de Rueda family

In the 19th century, the silk business dominated the life of the Oria de Rueda family. With the decline of the silk industry, they decided to dedicate themselves to the world of wine.

The first barrels

The vineyards

60 km inland and away from the Mediterranean Sea, are the vineyards of Bodegas Torre Oria.

A particular altitude between 650 and 905 meters above sea level and soils of limestone and sand give the grapes their special quality.

A decisive role is also played by the day and night changes in the slopes, with their own climate influenced by the Mediterranean Sea.
