Bodegas Paniza

Bodegas Paniza takes its name from the village of the same name, located in the nutrient of Cariñena.

The philosophy of offering the best of the land, wine, has carried the estate for 60 years. 300 winegrowers have joined together in the Bodegas Paniza.

in 1953, the first winegrowers started the community project Nuestra Señora del Águila, from which Bodegas Pan iza would later emerge. in 1982, a bottling machine was acquired and for the first time wine could be sold completely independently. in 1996, the construction of a modern winery followed. Around 2010, the production was completely aligned with modern standards and provided Bodegas Paniza with production capacities that made it internationally competitive. in 2015, they were able to reap the fruits of their success and build an ultra-modern, architecturally interesting main building.

The vineyards of Bodegas Paniza

3000 hectares of vineyards around Paniza are now part of Bodegas Paniza. Dry, rocky soil, typical of the Cariñena area, makes up the soils.At lower elevations, brown earth, limestone, sandstone and clay are mainly found. The oldest vines are located at about 850 meters above sea level, where they benefit from unique conditions that qualify them for the best wines of Bodegas Paniza. The continental climate here makes for very hot summers and cold, windy winters.
