IT meets the world of wine
in 2002, two well-known IT entrepreneurs - Claudio Gabellini and Enrico Giacomelli - sat down and made plans. They wanted to make investments in the wine business and acquire three prized vineyards in the most frequented areas of the Marche region.
Planned, said, done - the Buscareto winery was born.

Hard work pays off
The Buscareto winery was built up and expanded step by step in collaboration with wine expert Vito Camussi and oenologist Giancarlo Soverchia. 13 years later and a lot of hard work, the two IT people gave up the leadership - the core IT business was booming and the two could not fully concentrate on the winery.
New concept
The management of the Buscareto winery was given to a professional who started to structure the winery as a self-managing new model of collaboration and organize board decisions with the owner.

The Buscareto wines
Buscareto presents its wines under two lines:
- Goccia line
Gocciatranslates as drop. This is also depicted on the labels of this line and is meant to symbolize the juice that becomes wine without stylistic refinement. - Selezioni line
Here the name says it all. The selection of the grapes already begins in the vineyards. Only optimally ripe grapes are selected for these wines.
