Château Miraval

Château Miraval, is a 500 hectare estate located in the heart of Provence. In 2012, it was purchased by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who still manage it today in collaboration with the top French winemakers from the Perrin family. The vineyards of Chateau Miraval have been cultivated organically for many years and are certified organic.

Not only Hollywood brings cult status

Within a very short time, the rosé wine they produce in its own independent bottles advanced to become the best rosés in Provence with regular top ratings and already has cult status. The Cuveé Cinsault, is the mirror of the classic grape varieties of Provence. Starting with the 2014 vintage and to avoid the risk of counterfeit wines, the bottles for the Rosé have been engraved.

Rosé so Natural

Since the 2012 vintage, you have decided not to claim organic status for the wines for two reasons:

• To maximize quality, you want the flexibility to blend the winery's grapes with high quality grapes from other wineries that are not necessarily certified organic.
• They use a stabilization method (stabilisation tartrique membranaire) that is not recognized as organic in Europe (but is in the US).

The wines are bottled at the Famille Perrin winery, where we have installed a state-of-the-art bottling line that allows us to perfectly control the level of dissolved oxygen added during bottling - an important qualitative parameter, especially for rosé wines.
