Château Palmer

Château Palmer - 3rd Grand Cru Classé

Château Palmer is one of the most famous wineries of the Bordelais. Since the classification in 1855, the estate has been ranked as Troisième Grand Cru Classé, the third-highest level of classification. The vineyards of Château Palmer cover 55 hectares, extending over the elevations of the commune of Cantenac. The main part of the plots is concentrated on a plateau of poor gravel soil from the Günz glaciation period, located on the highest points of the hills of the Margaux appellation.
