Success through merger
Classified as Quatrième Grand Cru Classé, Château Saint-Pierre was split up over time due to inheritance, but in 1982 Henri Martin, owner of Château Gloria, managed to reunite the estate.

The 17-hectare vineyard is located in the commune of Beychevelle and is planted with 50-year-old vines. The majority of the vineyard is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, which is complemented by some Merlot and Cabernet Franc on the sandy and clayey soils of the Günziennes. This high quality terroir of the Château has helped to become one of the flagships of the northern Médoc, in Saint-Julien. The wines know how to seduce with their roundness and ripe tannins.

Château Saint-Pierre is managed today by the daughter of Henri Martin, Francoise Triaud and her husband Jean-Louis Triaud, who was director of the Château between 1996 and 2017.
