Chateau Ste. Michelle - Tradition and Innovation
With a history that began as early as 1912, Chateau Ste. Michelle is now one of the largest, best-known and most popular wineries, not only in Washington State, but in the entire USA.
Chateau Ste. Michelle - with premium claim to success
The modern history of Chateau Ste. Michelle began in 1967. Under the direction of legendary oenologist Andre Tchelistcheff, a line of premium wines was created that was both the first and groundbreaking for winemaking in the state. As is common with great top producers, the wine lines are pyramided from a plethora of grape varieties.
- Barbera
- Cabernet Franc
- Cabernet Sauvignon
- Chardonnay
- Chenin Blanc
- and seventeen others
At the top you will find Impetus, followed by the Artist Series, Ethos Reserve, Single Vineyards, Indian Wells and Columbia Valley. There are also joint ventures such as Eroica (with Ernst Loosen) and Col Solare (with Antinori), the Limited Release series and the Domaine Ste. Michelle sparkling wines.
