Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc - Domaine des Sénéchaux

The Domaine de Sénéchaux Blanc from Châteauneuf du Pape shimmers golden yellow in the glass. The nose is spoiled with fruity tones of ripe peach and sweet pears and apples. These aromas are mirrored on the palate and wonderfully complemented by caramel and vanilla notes that round off this cuvée. An intense finish with a beautiful length ends this play of aromas "for the time being".

Vinification of the Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc from Domaine de Sénéchaux

Cellar master Bernard Tranchecoste is responsible for the cuvée made from 33% Rousanne, 29.5% Grenache Blanc, 29.5% Clairette and 8% Bourboulenc. As with the red wines of the Domaine de Sénécheaux, which are also highly prized, the yield of the white grape varieties is also regulated to 30 hl/ha. This fact, coupled with gentle grape pressing and processing at a temperature of around 18°C, makes this fantastic variety of aromas possible. 

Food recommendation for the Domaine des Sénéchaux Blanc

We recommend this first-class white wine cuvée from the Rhône as an aperitif, with fruit tarts or with seafood.
