More information about Côte De Brouilly Tradition - Domaine De Briante
The Côte De Brouilly Tradition, matured in barrel and hailing from the Beaujolais wine-growing region, presents itself in the glass in a bright light red. The first nose of the Côte De Brouilly Tradition reveals notes of plum, blackberry, blueberry and sour cherry. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by barrel-aging notes such as even more fruity-balsamic nuances.
This wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste profile. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As one would expect from a wine, this Frenchman naturally delights, despite all its dryness, with the finest balance. Excellent flavor does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced red wine is wonderfully velvety, fleshy and dense. The finish of this red wine from the Beaujolais wine-growing region, more precisely from Beaujolais Villages, ultimately thrills with a lovely aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral nuances from the granite-dominated soils.
Vinification of Domaine De Briante Côte De Brouilly Tradition
The well-balanced Côte De Brouilly Tradition from France is a varietal wine made from the Gamay grape variety. In Beaujolais, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on granite soils. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are brought immediately to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the elegant Côte De Brouilly Tradition is matured for another 9 months in oak barrels.
