De Meye Wines Stellenbosch

De Meye is a family winery located in Stellenbosch, the most important wine region in South Africa, right next to such famous wineries as Simonsig, Kanonkop or Warwick. The winery is named after the De Meye River in Holland, where the first Myburgh, who came to South Africa in 1665, was born.

Internationally awarded wines

De Meye Farm's vineyards are located in the western part of Stellenbosch. The balanced climate there, together with the prevailing cooling winds from the west during grape ripening, combined with the fertile soil, are the basis for the production of high quality South African wines. The fairly low yields of about four to six tons per hectare testify to the high quality standards of the Myburgh family.
