It began in 1641 when Vigilio De Vescovi came to Mezzocorona from Vermiglio in Val di Sole, along the river Noce (formerly Ulzbach). When he had settled down, his brothers followed him. One of them, Ludovico, became the founder of the family that has lived here for almost 400 years. From the roots of ancient values grows your vision for the future. The dedication of humble hands treats the vineyards like gardens. De Vescovi Ulzbach is a winemaking story that looks to the future with the past and tradition. The company is located in Mezzocorona, in the province of Trento, in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana, it is 116 km from Verona and 45 km from Bolzano.

Welcome to the Piana Rotaliana, the cradle of Europe it is an ode to land, water and light. The Rotaliana plain is an alluvial plain in the Adige valley in the Italian province of Trento. The Piana Rotaliana is known as a wine-growing area, especially for Teroldego, which has DOC protected status with Teroldego Rotaliano. Goethe called the Rotaliana plain "the most beautiful vineyard in Europe" in his travelogue Italienische Reise.

From the bond with the land and the passion for wine, Giulio de Vescovi felt called to reorient the family business in 2003. From then on, it was dedicated entirely to Teroldego Rotaliano. A few years later he developed his personal vineyard project in the Non Valley which today produces white wines of great quality.
