In the picturesque Pouilly-sur-Loire, the Saget family has been practicing the high art of viticulture for eight generations now and runs the Domaine Guy Saget winery.

This resulted in a collection of the best Loire appellations, as countless relationships with other winegrowers were established. Over generations they were also able to build up knowledge of viticulture, with which the most favorable climatic zones as well as the best soil in each appellation were identified. At Guy Saget, the passion for wine has never been lost. Alongside their extensive expertise, this passion is present in each of the wines in the signature portfolio.

Four is a winner at Domaine Guy Saget

At Domaine Guy Saget, the wines are traditionally fermented. In this way, they manage to give the wines their own personality and to represent the full potential of the Loire winegrowing region. Today, the family cultivates a total of 240 hectares of vines, spread across different terroirs. The estate, whose roots go back to 1790, is now run by Jean-Louis Saget and his sons Laurent and Arnaud. The winery includes a total of four estates: Domaine Saget, Domaine de Terres Blanches, Domaine des Grandes Espérances, and Château de la Mulonnière. Each of these estates specializes in specific wines and grape varieties. However, each winery has its own oenologist, who is responsible for the wines produced there.

What all the estates have in common is the fact that you can clearly feel the passion and philosophy of the founder, Guy Saget. The selection of soils for each grape variety is of crucial importance. Innovation, tradition, quality, and respect for nature also form the basis for the quality of the wines.
