Domaine La Grange

So close to paradise

Domaine La Grange is located on the edge of the Haut-Languedoc Nature Park. Vineyards as far as the eye can see, surrounded by flowering shrubs and hedges - in the midst of an intact nature. It was quickly clear that La Grange can vinify excellent wines in this environment. This is also proven by the countless medals that the red, white and rosé wines have received. 

The sites - something very special

Each plot is protected by garrique - the Mediterranean scrub forest. In addition to protection, the garrique also provides a balanced biosphere. Warm winds blow from the Mediterranean over the vineyards - a fresh clear breeze from the nearby Cevennes. Rosemary and thyme spread a spicy fragrance. This is where you want to stay - this is where you want to vinify wines. All this keeps the grapes healthy. 

At work with enthusiasm

in 2007, Rolf and Renate Freund fell in love with Domaine La Grange. They had to acquire the estate and they did. Today, one of the great oenologists of the Mediterranean, Jean Natolie and his team, work at La Grange. They help the Domaine to vinify great wines. In addition, the team is supported by Gwenael Thomas. Each plot was analyzed, evaluated and the work planned down to the smallest detail. Thus, each grape variety, has the optimal vineyard for itself with the right conditions.

Among the wines of La Grange, there is something for every connoisseur. Starting from the wines of the line Classique, through the series Terroir, the Tradition wines, to the line Castalides. 

The Domaine La Grange vinifies among others the following white and red grape varieties:
